Responsibilities:
- Planning & Design: Contribute to the development of Test Plans and define test cases and test scenarios
- Test Execution: Execute various types of testing (Functional, Regression, and Integration testing), assist in performing basic Performance
- Close Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and BAs to clarify requirements, define test scope
- Defect Management: Identify, log, and track bugs using management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Redmine, …) collaborate with the Development team to reproduce and verify fixes.
- Technical Testing: Perform API Testing (Postman or similar tools) and Database Testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Reporting & Improvement: Prepare Test Reports after each sprint, propose improvements to testing processes to support rapid and efficient release cycles
- Agile Workflow: Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1.5 – 2 years of experience in software testing; experience in Marketplace or B2B2C eCommerce projects is a strong preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. Professional QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
- Testing Skills: Proficient in writing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios; solid understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC)
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in API Testing (Postman) and Database Testing (intermediate to advanced SQL queries)
- Specialized Concepts: Good understanding of Performance, Security, and Scalability testing concepts
- Programming & Automation (Big Plus): Having a basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, JS, etc.) or experience with Automation Frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is a major advantage
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and proactive mindset
- Language: Good command of English (reading, writing, and comprehension) for technical documentation
